Introduction
Currency Calculator ("we", "our", or "the app") is developed by Andrii Vdovenko. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our services:
- Location data — When you use the Exchange Map feature, we request your device location to show nearby exchange offices and ATMs. Location data is used only on your device and is not stored on our servers.
- Usage analytics — We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature usage. This data does not identify you personally.
- Advertising data — For free users, we display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
- Subscription data — If you subscribe to Pro, your purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your payment information.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or personal contact information
- We do not collect or store your financial data or transaction history
- We do not track your location history — location is used only in real-time when you open the map
- We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties
Third-Party Services
The app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
Data Storage
All app preferences (selected currencies, language, subscription status) are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. We do not have access to this data. Exchange office data is cached locally on your device for up to 30 days to reduce network requests.
Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Rights
You can:
- Deny location access — the app will work without the map feature
- Opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
- Delete all local data by uninstalling the app
- Request information about your data by contacting us

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
